What is The Body Tag
The
Body is the second section of a website, once the search engines have
gathered the information from the header, they then move onto the body
to gather further information from the content and H tags.
Importance of Quality Content
Every
website needs good quality content, not just to catch the interest of
its visitors, but also to give the search engines more information
about the webpage they are viewing. The more content you can provide to
the search engines then the better chance you have of achieving first
page listings. Try to have at least 200 words on each page that you
want to have appear on the search engines.
H1 – H6 tags
The H tag is the most important tag in the body section, similar to the Title tag in the Header section,
the H tag tells the search engines what the page is about. Each H tag
should start in numerical order and the H1 tag should be as close to
the top of the page as possible, do not overuse this tag though, the H1
tag should not be used more than once per page. Try to use your keyword
in the H1 tag as this will add extra weight in the tag.
